Deep Brain Stimulation and Focused Ultrasound

In this session, the faculty will explore recent innovations and clinical applications of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Focused Ultrasound (FUS) in the treatment of movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. Clinical cases, patient workup, selection criteria, targeting strategies, and outcome optimization will be discussed. Faculty will highlight how these technologies are reshaping clinical decision-making and providing less invasive alternatives, with a strong emphasis on personalized care approaches.
